About the Camp
We are looking forward to another great individual basketball camp this summer! GCSU coaches and players will be joined by a number of very successful high school coaches on our staff. Each camper will be coached in the fundamentals of basketball and be taught to apply these fundamentals in personal and team practice, as well as in game situations. The camp will also provide a disciplined, enthusiastic and highly organized atmosphere with the intention of inspiring each camper to work hard toward becoming the best possible basketball player he can be.
All sessions will be held on the Georgia College & State University campus in Milledgeville. Housing will be in GCSU's new, world-class, suite-style residence halls, adjacent to the air-conditioned Centennial Center arena. CHECK IN WILL BE BETWEEN 5:00 PM AND 6:00 PM ON JULY 8TH IN THE CENTENNIAL CENTER. Meals will be served in the campus dining hall with the first meal being breakfast on July 9th. Camp will conclude at 5:00 pm on July 11th.
Each camper will receive a free t-shirt, and will need to bring the following items with them if they are overnight campers:
- Bed sheets, pillow, and pillow case
- Toiletries
- Basketball shoes
- At least 2 pair of shorts
- 4 t-shirts
- 4 pair of socks
- Towels
- A great attitude!
We encourage you to make plans to join us for another productive and exciting summer on the campus of GCSU!
