About the Camp
Since 1992, the Bobcat Basketball Boys Team Camp has grown into one of the South's best and memorable summer camp experiences.
Held in a safe and comfortable environment, our summer camp allows your team to grow closer and stronger as a group and also prepare for next year's season, while giving you the opportunity to evaluate new talent.
The camp is designed for 20-30 varsity and junior varsity teams to play 10-12 games over the course of 3-4 days. All sessions will be held in one central location on the Georgia College & State University campus in Milledgeville. Games will be played in air-conditioned facilities on the three courts in the Centennial Center, each with a scoreboard.
Housing will be in GCSU's new, world-class, suite-style residence halls, adjacent to the Centennial Center. Meals will be served in the campus dining hall. The swimming pool next to the Centennial Center will be available for camper and coaches' use at designated times. A free camp t-shirt will be provided to the participants and for the ones who wish to buy a souvenir, there will also be a camp store with t-shirts and other items for sale.
CHECK IN WILL BE HELD AT THE CENTENNIAL CENTER GYMNASIUM BETWEEN 9am AND 10:30am ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP. You will receive your room assignments and keys, and the balance is due at this time. All coaches are asked to meet at Centennial at 11am for an organizational meeting, and games will begin at Noon.
Head coaches will be compensated for administrative duties performed during the camp, which includes dorm supervision for their players. We also offer a nightly hospitality room for coaches. A total of 10 paid players is required for compensation. Only one coach per team will be housed and fed for free; each additional coach will cost $85. Once we receive your team's registration and deposit, we will send you more information about the camp.
We encourage you to make plans to join us for another productive and exciting summer on the campus of GCSU!
Registration Details
A $500 deposit per team is required. This guarantees a spot in the camp, and the remaining balance is due at registration. Deposits cannot be refunded, and personal checks from players will not be accepted.
In addition, each camper will be required to have a completed PARENTAL CONSENT FORM and LIABILITY WAIVER on file at GCSU before participating in camp activities. These forms will be mailed to head coaches upon receipt of camp deposit, and must be signed by parents and turned in at registration.

Under Sellers' guidance, the Bobcats have won four Peach Belt Conference Championships (1997, 1999, 2000, & 2006), two PBC Tournament Championships (1997 & 1999), an NCAA Regional Championship (2000) and have been to the NCAA Tournament four times (1997, 1999, 2000, & 2006), including a trip to the Elite Eight in 2000.
Sellers has been named the Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year three times, and he was also honored by the Atlanta Tip-off Club as the NCAA Division II Coach of the Year in the state of Georgia in 2000. He has also notched five twenty-win seasons at the school.
Previously, he spent nine years at Alabama Southern Community College where his teams averaged 22 wins per year and he earned Southern Division Coach of the Year honors in 1990, 1991, and 1993.
